Leo Club Of Athugalpura
A Legacy of Service, Leadership & Impact
The Leo Club of Athugalpura is a youth-led service organization built on a simple belief meaningful change begins with those willing to take action. Founded on 23 February 2020 under Leo Multiple District 306, Sri Lanka, the club began with a passionate group of young individuals united by service, leadership, and fellowship. Since then, it has grown into a vibrant community committed to creating opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and make a difference.
Through innovative service projects and community initiatives, Athugalpura Leos continue to contribute to education, social welfare, environmental causes, and community development. Recognized as the Most Outstanding New Leo Club in its district during its early journey, the club continues to build on that spirit of excellence — empowering young leaders, strengthening communities, and turning ideas into meaningful action.

As Leos, we are the architects of a better future, building a world shaped by compassion and dedication. Our purpose is to be the bridge - standing in the gap between a need and its solution, connecting hearts and hands to create lasting change. We are driven by the vision of a stronger, more united community, proving that the future is a masterpiece we are building together
Leo Lion Imashi Navodya
I joined LEO to serve, grow, and make a difference. I learned that even the smallest acts can create a huge impact. I loved every moment and every person I met along the journey. Bringing digitalization to the club and seeing it work made this journey even more meaningful and unforgettable.
Leo Kalindu Athapaththu
Being a Leo is choosing to leave an imprint wherever your service takes you. It is having the courage to step forward when others step back, the heart to serve without seeking recognition, and the strength to turn an ordinary moment into something meaningful. We may be young, but our actions carry a voice of their own. And when that voice is united with others, even the smallest act of service can become part of something unforgettable.
